Correct Ball Position
In general 80% of the things that go wrong in our golf swings happen before we even start the backswing.
In this tip of the month I’ll be taking a look at ball position and how to get it right every time.
The ball position in relation to your body needs to remain fairly consistent anytime we are looking to make a normal swing. Whether it is a Driver, 6 iron or Pitching wedge I like to see the ball position remain the same in relation to the body.
I like to see the ball position remain lined up to the player’s heart (right handed player) or his left ear. The only thing that changes is the width of stance which is controlled by the placement of the right foot.

As shown above the only thing that changes is the width of stance, which is controlled by the right foot position.
Take a look at your ball position in a mirror or get a video lesson to see for yourself; but getting the correct ball position will make the world of difference to your game.
