Improve Your Putting

One of the keys to holing putts is getting the ball rolling as best you can. In order to achieve this you need to release the putter head correctly and get a consist strike on the ball……

Here is a drill to improve both of these aspects of your putting stroke!

Set up two tees on either side of your putter head (closer to your putter the more difficult) about 4 - 6 feet from the hole. Then hit 4-6 putts with just your bottom hand (right hand, for right handed golfers), after that hit 5 -10 putts with both hands and feel how the putter head ‘releases’ down the target line.

Repeat this drill for 5 - 10 minutes as often as you can and start to see the ball rolling into the hole more and more often.
