Wanting more Distance?

Everybody wants to hit the ball further and straighter more consistently. When it comes to distance and generating more of it, the most important thing is Club Head Speed.

What is Club Head Speed? Well it’s how fast the club is moving during the swing.

More Club Head Speed = More Distance

Sadly in many ways we are limited by our bodies as to how much speed we can generate during our swing, however someone with good technique but poor strength can generate more club head speed and therefore more distance than someone with greater strength and poorer technique.

So how can you Generate More Speed????

Simple. Try my drill below for more speed through impact giving you more distance

Take two to three practise swings before you hit your shot, listening to where the club makes a “Whoosh” noise. The closer and louder you can make that “Whoosh“ noise through the impact area (where the ball is) the better.
